$42 shampoo, haircut AND blow dry! Came in around 11am on Wednesday, and was asked if there was a specific stylist I wanted to work with. I recognized Steven from the Tiktoks and asked for him. Once confirmed, I was promptly escorted to get my hair shampooed and had a wonderful head massage from the ladies in the back, and was brought out to Steven within 10 minutes. Showed Steven my reference photo for my haircut, and with in 30 minutes, my hair was cut and blow dried to perfection!! He was amazing and deserved of his hype! All in all, I was in and out under 50 minutes! The salon is very loud and fast faced, but if you want a quality haircut for cheap, I cannot recommend Pell22 enough!

Booked appointments for myself and my boyfriend with Elaine after reading positive reviews online. I was very nervous as I hadn't had my haircut in over two years because I'd had so many bad experiences spending a fortune and leaving salons in tears, but I left absolutely thrilled with my cut and color - and my boyfriend's haircut looked great, too! Elaine is clearly an experienced professional. She listened to what I was looking for and was helpful in advising on what I needed to achieve the hair color I wanted. I can't believe what a beautiful style I left with for such an affordable price compared to many nyc salons. She will definitely be my hairstylist from now on!

Gets pretty busy depending on the time that you come! I came around 5ish and there was a line so I had to come back the next day around 4ish and they took me! I decided to get the wash, cut, blow , and style . The pricing was very fair and affordable! As for the service it was very efficient and they took there time on me regardless of the line forming which I really appreciated. My hair stylist asked if I wanted to curl my hair and I think the results came out really great. It's my first time getting layers and he really listened to what length I wanted to keep my hair at!

Great Service! Everyone was so kind and fulfilled my requirements. They were super gentle with me when i told them i just got a new piercing and made sure they didn't touch that area. Tony the person who finished my hair put extra layers and thinned my hair and did an amazing job. I will definitely visit again. The salon itself was so spacious and my hair dresses Tony explained every step and why he used the products he did and told me what i should be aware of after dying my hair. AMAZING JOB. Best kept secret in China Town. For $42 I got a wash, cut and blow out. I did a walk in on a Friday afternoon and their service was impeccable. I waited 5 mins before sitting down to get my hair washed my some amazing woman who gives such an amazing head massage that I dozed off. After they sit me down with Charlie and he went to work. He listened to what I wanted and help bring some fullness into my hair. He was so good that I am now dedicated to him. He finished off with blow drying my hair pin straight and it was so chic and cute I couldn't want for date night. A must if you want a fast cut, blow out or if you're in the neighborhood. Also they only take cash. But there is ATM next door if needed

Look for Chaxie!!! Recommended! I heard about this gem through Tiktok. The hairdresser recommended based on reviews and social media is Steven. I walked in and was asked who the stylist I want, and I asked for him. I was asked if I had an appointment with him, and I said no. When we arrived, he was still assisting another client, so a lady assisted me in washing my hair, and I was seated directly. To my surprise, another stylist was given to me. I don't know what happened, but I'm happy about the outcome. Chaxie did a fantastic job. I showed him inspo, a butterfly cut, and he did it with precision and finesse. I have long, thick hair, so instead of using a hairbrush and hair dryer to style it, he asked me if he could use a curling wand, and I said yes. I loved how they asked permission first before doing something. I did not expect to be roaming around NYC with glamorous hair for just $43! They accept the cards for payment. I would suggest tipping by cash.

A very fast service and did not need any reservation. Maybe because I went there on a Friday late at night around 6:30pm. They were almost closed though and took me. James, my stylist cut and trimmed my hair and it looked pretty good afterwards. The price came out to be $38 for a wash and cut. I guess it is a pretty okay price. Good thing they use disposable plastic bags to cover you from the already cut hair.

MY GUY STEVEN!!!! You know when you leave a haircut having cried or on the verge of tears? Yeah I know the feeling and I finally left a salon beaming!! First of all Steven is so nice and has been cutting hair for decades. Second of all he is so talented! He did an incredible job with just a few photos of what I wanted. This was one of the best haircuts I have had and the cost was half the cost of any I have gotten. The staff here is also super nice! They have someone else wash your hair and the receptionists are super friendly. If you want Steven you should book in advance and even be prepared to wait past your appointment time. I can't even be mad for waiting because of the results and price. I will definitely be back!

$42 for wash cut and style with Steven! I called one day before to schedule an appointment and came at 12:15 PM on a Wednesday. I had my hair washed and waited until 12:50 PM for Steven to show up LOL good thing I didn't have plans that day. Btw he speaks cantonese mandarin malay and english! I really only came here for a trim but Steven seemed really knowledgeable about hair and suggested I get long layers for volume. I have thick wavy asian hair. The long layers would also suit my face shape better. I trusted the process and it ended up looking really nice! I also asked if he could curl my hair. Personally I thought it was too curly but it ended up looking good. It also lasted 4 days too! The place already seemed very busy on a weekday so calling ahead is suggested. Be sure to tip the hair stylist and the washer!
